Deana DeLong is the owner of Away Team Home Watch Services and brings over two decades of experience in the residential property industry. She has been with HouseMaster of West Michigan since 2000, taking ownership of the company in 2010, and has spent the past 15 years leading it with a focus on professionalism, thoroughness, and client trust.

With a deep background in home inspections, Deana has a keen eye for property maintenance, safety, and risk management. She now brings that expertise to Away Team, ensuring homeowners’ properties are carefully monitored, well-maintained, and secure while they are away. John Jones is a licensed and certified home inspector with nearly 20 years of experience in residential property evaluation. He spent 16 years running his own independent inspection business and has spent the past three years on our team, honing his skills in thorough property assessments.
With extensive knowledge of construction, repairs, and hands-on handyman work, John brings a trained eye for identifying maintenance issues, safety concerns, and potential property risks. At Away Team Home Watch Services, he applies this expertise to provide meticulous care and oversight for homeowners’ properties, ensuring that every home is safe, secure, and well-maintained—even when its owners are away.
